Tiana Washington, MPH is a Research Analyst for NC-PAL. She recently graduated with her MPH at UNC Chapel Hill with a concentration in health equity, social justice, and human rights. Her academic journey began at East Carolina University, where she earned her B.S. in Neuroscience and B.A. in Psychology. She has focused her academic and professional endeavors on rural health disparities and adolescent mental health within minority populations and has worked with organizations locally and abroad to actualize the right to health and promote health equity. In her free time, she enjoys watching horror movies, reading, and traveling with friends.
