Dr. Jill Howard is a clinical psychologist who specializes in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related difficulties. In this presentation, Dr. Howard explores challenges related to eating and toileting in children with autism and I/DD. She discusses medical and behavioral evaluation of these skills, reviews medications that may be useful, and describes how toilet training may need to be modified for this population. Dr. Howard also shares caregiver and community resources that may be helpful for addressing toileting and feeding concerns.
