Dr. Rob Christian is a physician with training in both general pediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry. In this talk, Dr. Christian discusses a systematic approach to the evaluation and treatment of irritability and externalizing behaviors in the context of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He covers the state of the evidence of the use of psychopharmacology for the indirect and direct treatment of this symptom cluster, and discusses harms and benefits of various approaches.
