Maddy earned her Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Delaware, where her research focused on the intersection of the criminal-legal system and mental health. She has extensive experience managing and analyzing complex datasets and has supported data management and evaluation efforts for public health and criminal justice programs. Within NC-PAL, Maddy collects, analyzes, and translates data into actionable insights that inform programs in support of our mission. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, volunteering with dogs at her local animal shelter, reading, and spending time with her family.
