Annise Weaver is a Co-Director of NC-PAL. Prior to joining Duke, Annise worked as a Senior Director at Odyssey House, where she spent nine years leading programs that assisted women and children in need of holistic treatment for a variety of behavioral health needs. Before that, she worked in a variety of settings including a therapeutic weight loss high school for adolescents in California and one of the first residential substance use treatment programs for women and children in New York City.

Annise is a native New Yorker who enjoys bowling, golf, pickle ball and spending time with her family.
